Overview

Summit Structures approached me after a major hurricane impacted their region in Western North Carolina, seeking to rebuild their brand and strengthen community trust. The goal was to modernize their image while staying true to their core values of craftsmanship, reliability, and connection. Through brand strategy and research, we clarified their positioning, balancing professionalism with authenticity to create a brand that felt both grounded and forward-looking.

I developed a new identity built on strength and precision. The logo drew inspiration from architectural lines and mountain silhouettes, symbolizing structure and stability. A cool, grounded color palette paired with clean typography gave the brand a refined yet approachable personality. The collateral suite, business cards, signage, and internal materials, was designed for clarity and consistency, creating a unified client experience from first impression to project handoff.

The Process & Result

To support the rebrand, I designed and developed a 12-page website that functioned as both a portfolio and a lead-generation tool. The layout emphasized clarity and usability, with integrated quote requests, contact forms, a project blog, and a detailed services section, optimized for search visibility. A curated gallery showcased their craftsmanship, while subtle motion and whitespace elevated the digital experience beyond traditional construction sites.

The rebrand extended across every touchpoint, from digital to print, reinforcing trust and cohesion across all communications. A comprehensive brand guideline system ensured Summit could maintain consistency as they grew. The result was a revitalized presence that communicates quality, professionalism, and a lasting commitment to the community.
